Taxback.com shared in Christmas celebrations with the children and families of the Children’s Oncology and Haematology Clinic at Sveta Marina Hospital in Varna, Bulgaria.

Taxback.com has been working with Sveta Marina Hospital since 2008 when we sponsored BGN 16,000 (€8000) worth of construction to the ward as part of a complete renovation of the clinic.

The clinic specialises in treating children up to 18 years old with blood and malignant diseases and had been in desperate need of repairs for 14 years.

In 2009 we sponsored a gala event which raised an additional BGN 70,000 (€35,700) to help provide further life saving equipment for the ward.

December’s Christmas party was attended by Varna City Mayor Kiril Yordanov and Director of the hospital Professor Krassimir Ivanov.

As a Christmas gift taxback.com donated four new computers for the ward to help make the time spent in hospital more entertaining and education for these brave children.

“Thanks to your help we managed to build the sunniest and most modern children’s clinic in Bulgaria and give our patients the chance to receive treatment equal to that available in the most qualified European hospitals.”

Taxback.com Marketing Executive Plamena Valcheva said she was delighted that taxback.com could share in a day that was so special for the children and those who care about them.

“I was so happy to be there to see the excitement on the children’s faces when they saw the computers,” Plamena said. “They realised that there are people outside the hospital who believe they will get better and this will make them stronger and will help them to go through all the procedures they need.”
