Wow! Has it really been 27 years since we helped our first customer to claim their tax refund?

Having spent the summer of 1996 as a student working in Germany, Terry Clune found the process of reclaiming his overpaid tax to be frustrating and difficult.

And so, Terry took matters into his own hands. From his Co. Kilkenny kitchen, Terry began to help people just like him to claim their tax entitlements – laying the foundations for the company known globally today as Taxback.

From day one our goal has remained the same – to deliver excellence in customer experience and remove the fear from filing a tax return.

It is this goal that has helped us to become the world's leading tax refund and filing specialists.

Having originally filed paper tax returns for our customers, we now offer a fully automated, online service.

Today we work with employers and individual workers – across 12 countries – offering tax filing, refund application and ancillary services to ensure that no one ever pays more tax than they need to.
